Spill Awareness
Overview
This training course ensures that those designated to respond to an incident where a potentially dangerous or environmentally damaging spillage has occurred, know the correct procedure and how to use a spill kit correctly.
Gain an understanding of:
- The importance of controlling spills and the steps involved
- Different hazardous materials and their risks
- Relevant legislation
- Different methods of controlling spills
- Planning for and managing a spill or leak
- What is included within a spill kit and their individual uses
Certification for this course is valid for 3 years. To remain certified, delegates will need to retake the course before the expiry date.

This course is half a day in duration.

To attend this course you are required to have completed a short pre-requisite quiz, this will be distributed to you prior to the course start date. Please bring a form of photo identification on the day of your training course. Please also inform the Greenlight team of any allergies/preferences, as lunch will be provided.
